Bath and Body Works: Forever Midnight and Midnight for Him

Description: N/A

Notes: Bergamot Spice, Blue Sage, Leather Woods, and Caramel Liqueur

Release: November 4, 2013. Possible "Preview Party" in October or November

Fragrance Review: This fragrance has a good musky quality about it. It also has a nice fresh note to play in, and a sexy spiciness. All in all it embodies directly what you see above... Bergamot Spice would be a little fresh and spicy. Blue Sage would be spicy with a possible fresh note. Leather Woods would be musky and fresh. I do not, however, smell the Caramel Liqueur note much. If you really focus you can hone in on a tiny bit of a sweetness, but just barely.

Packaging Review: There's not much to rate for now, as this is just the sampler they put out. I believe they very specifically keep from  doing anything nice on these to keep the packaging a surprised. It is nice that the bottles seem much more spillproof than last year. My Forever Red sample leaked alot last year.

Performance Review: I sprayed this on my fiance earlier this evening... Just one spray, and an hour later couldn't smell it even with my nose right on his shirt where we sprayed it. My guess is we probably just need to spray a little more on him next time.

Bath and Body Works: Forever Midnight and Midnight for Him

Description: N/A

Notes: Midnight Jasmine, Plum Nectar, Vanilla Orchid, and Caramel Liqueur

Release: November 4, 2013. Possible "Preview Party" in October or November

Fragrance Review: This fragrance is very "designer perfume" esque. I'm getting alot of a floral, musky scent. Mixed in but slightly overwhelmed by the musky tone is the caramel. Again, you might not smell it unless you know it's there. I was hoping for the caramel to be a huge standout. For the floral, it's a nice balance between the jasmine and orchid, evoking the memory of smelling both Enchanted Orchid and Night Blooming Jasmine.

Packaging Review: Again, it's a simple plain bottle designed for sensibility. They don't need it to impress quite yet, they are trying to make sure they still have a few cards up their sleeve when the launch comes around. I will say the little box was pretty impressive in its design. Both decorative and pretty... Yet basic and revealing nothing about the true packaging except color.

Performance Review: Honestly I haven't worn it quite yet. I might try to do a review one day this week of the actual performance.

  2. I can't wait for this to be available in stores. I usually don't wear plum as lotion or perfume and hope this comes in body wash too.
